Delete your data

You can ask us to delete your personal data at any time, and you do not have to give a reason. This page explains how to ask, what we remove, and the one thing we are not allowed to remove.

How to ask

Email info@elizabetmcleaning.nl from the address we have for you, and say you want your data deleted. That is the whole requirement — no form, no account needed.

If you signed in with Facebook, you can also remove our app from your Facebook settings. Facebook tells us automatically and gives you a confirmation code, which you can check below.

What happens to your data

We delete your contact details, your account and sign-in — including the link to your Facebook, Google, Microsoft or Apple account — your booking history, your instructions for the cleaner, and your visit photos. Invoices and the accounting behind them we have to keep for seven years, because Dutch tax law requires it. Those we keep, and nothing else.

How long it takes

We complete deletion requests within 30 days, and usually much sooner. You will get an email confirming it when it is done. If a request needs longer — which really only happens if we cannot work out which customer you are — we will write and tell you why.

If you would rather not delete everything

You do not have to choose all or nothing. You can ask us to remove just the visit photos, or just your access details, and keep the rest so your bookings still work. Say what you want removed and that is what we will remove.

Anything else

You also have the right to a copy of your data, to correct it, and to complain to the Dutch data protection authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens). Our Privacy Policy covers what we collect and why.
