How is steam cleaning different from regular cleaning?
Regular cleaning wipes surfaces with products. Steam uses high-temperature vapour to lift grime and sanitise on contact — it reaches deep into grout lines, seals and textured tile, and kills bacteria with little or no chemistry.
Is steam cleaning safe for my surfaces?
Steam suits most sealed hard surfaces — tiles, grout, glass, sanitaryware, stainless steel and stone. We avoid unsealed wood, delicate laminates and a few heat-sensitive finishes; tell us your materials and we confirm what's suitable before we start.
Does steam really clean without chemicals?
Largely, yes. High-temperature steam sanitises on contact, so most jobs use little or no chemistry — ideal for allergy-conscious homes, kitchens and spaces with children or pets. Heavy grease or mould may still need a targeted, surface-safe product.
Will it leave my bathroom or kitchen wet?
No. Steam uses very little water and we wipe and dry as we go, so surfaces are left clean and nearly dry — not soaked. Most areas are ready to use within minutes.
