We set no tracking cookies of its own. The Meta advertising tag below loads only if you accept it. Google’s tag loads straight away with every advertising and analytics signal set to “denied”: it writes no cookie and does not identify you, but it does send Google a basic cookieless signal that a page was opened, which Google uses to estimate overall results. Accepting switches those signals on; choosing “Only necessary” keeps them off. Our own visit measurement is cookieless, so nothing here needs your consent. We use local storage only to remember you dismissed the privacy notice. If we ever add cookie-based tools, we'll add a consent banner first.

Our advertising partners are Meta (Facebook and Instagram), Google (Google Ads, YouTube and Google Analytics) and TikTok. They set cookies only if you choose “Accept”; what each one sets and why is below.

We set no cookies at all unless you choose “Accept” in the cookie bar. Our own visit measurement is cookieless and never needs your consent. If you accept, we additionally load three advertising tools: the Meta (Facebook/Instagram) advertising pixel, which sets a _fbp cookie, the Google tag (Google Ads and Google Analytics), which sets _ga and _gcl cookies, and the TikTok pixel, which sets a _ttp cookie. They do two things. They report which advert led to a booking or enquiry — that is how we avoid paying for adverts that bring nobody. And they let us tailor our adverts: someone who has visited this site may later see one of our adverts on Facebook, Instagram, Google, YouTube or TikTok. Choose “Only necessary” and none of them is ever loaded. We ask again after six months if you chose “Only necessary”, never sooner. One page carries an embed we load only on request: on our reviews page a button loads our review badge from Trustoo (trustoo.nl). Press it and your browser contacts Trustoo, which may set cookies of its own; leave it alone and nothing from Trustoo is ever requested, on that page or any other. You can change your choice at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser. We use local storage for five things: to remember your cookie choice; if you arrive through a friend’s referral link, to remember who referred you (their name and email address, for up to 90 days) so your welcome discount can be applied; to remember how you first found us and how you last came back — for example “a Google advert” or “typed our address” — with the page you arrived on, the day and how many visits, for up to 90 days, so that when you book or ask us something we know which advert or website sent you (it holds no identifier, and leaves your device only together with a booking or request you send yourself); to count how many different people visit us, the day of your last visit, so that once a day your first page view tells us only how many days it has been since then and whether this is your first, second or a later visit — two numbers, never an identifier, which is why this counting needs no consent; and, if you sign in to your account, to keep you signed in. This stays on your device — it is not advertising or tracking. If we ever add cookie-based tools, we'll add a consent banner first.
